From journalism to tech startups,

Stories have always been a big part of my life.

Whether piecing together facts to make sense of the world and make a change, or shaping business narratives and getting them in front of the right audience, this is what I do best and enjoy every minute of.

I started out in journalism, where I learned to listen closely, dig for the real story, and say it so people actually pay attention. That skill, finding the story inside a pile of facts, is what I now bring to founders, executives, and scientists whose work is brilliant but hard to explain.

I later founded a content development company, and published a novel based on extensive research. Each one taught me that people remember stories, not specs.

I've also worked on the tech side. I led marketing and business development at a deeptech hardware company that was later sold (see the Nanofabrica case study), so I know what it's like to explain a breakthrough to investors, customers, and the people who need to be convinced.

Today I sit on advisory boards of early-stage startups and serve as an Expert in Residence (EXiR) at innovation hubs, and speak at events about personal branding and storytelling in tech, including the Employee Experience Summit in Toronto, Medtech Canada, and Medventions (Sunnybrook).

To keep things interesting, I do stand-up comedy (catch a glimpse on IG).
Performing in front of a live audience has taught me more about timing, clarity, and holding attention than any course.
